Hongliang Guo received the BEng degree in Electronic Engineering from Institute of Technology Tallaght, Ireland, and Nanjing University of Technology, China in 2015, and the MSc degree in RF and Microwave Engineering from University of Birmingham, UK in 2016. From 2017 to 2020, he was working towards his PhD degree at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, UK. His research dissertation concerned tunable RF/Microwave planar filters. Currently, he is working as a KTP associate at Heriot-Watt University developing “Auto-alignment of mmWave antennas” in partnership with CommScope, UK. His research interests include tunable RF/Microwave filters, active filters, beam-steering antennas, and antenna automatic control.
