It has been a great day to showcase the excellent research that has been doing by the talented postgraduate students in our Microwave and Antenna Engineering Group. In particular, we congratulate Celin Mary (photo in the left) and Yishan Wang (photo in the middle) who are among the winners of 1st year PhD students in our ISSS, and congratulate Jiayu Hou (Photo in the right) who is the winner of 2nd year PhD students in the same institute.

Celin Mary, supervised by Dr Jayakrishnan M. Purushothama, Dr Yuan Ding and Prof. Marc Desmulliez, is working on the novel CBRAM switches for emerging RF applications.

Yishan Wang, supervised by Dr Yuan Ding and Dr Jayakrishnan M. Purushothama, is working on RF and algorithm designs for ambient backscatter communications.

Jiayu Hou, supervised by Dr Yuan Ding and Prof. Mathini Sellathurai, is working on non-linear behaviours of highly integrated active arrays and their mitigation algorithms and potential applications.

We wish them very well for their remaining PhD studies with us.
