Anees Rehman received a bachelor’s degree in electrical (electronics) engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus in 2023, where he was awarded two gold medals for achieving the highest CGPA across both his campus and all COMSATS campuses in Pakistan.

In summer 2023, he was a research intern at the ECCoLe Lab, INRS, Montreal, Canada, where he worked on approximate computing-based machine learning hardware accelerators for wireless communication applications. From January 2024 to April 2025, he remotely worked as an Associate Design Engineer at Xcelerium Inc., a US-based fabless ASIC design company, contributing to the design of a RISC-V-based vector processing unit.

His research addresses the critical need for efficient, real-time, and adaptive baseband processing in the context of 6G and beyond, with an emphasis on machine learning-driven solutions to mitigate nonlinearities in power amplifiers.
