Dr. Mohd. Tasleem Khan serves as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Sensors, Signals, and Systems (ISSS), within the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences (EPS) at Heriot-Watt University.

He attained his Ph.D. degree in 2019 on VLSI for signal processing and communication systems from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. During 2019, he held the position of Principal Engineer at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Following this role, he served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronics Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Dhanbad, India, from 2020 to 2021. Concurrently, he worked as a Research Consultant on Machine Learning Algorithms and Architectures for King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia. Before joining Heriot-Watt University, Dr. Khan contributed as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Linkoping University, Sweden, focusing on 6G algorithms and architectures from 2021 to 2024. His areas of expertise and teaching interests encompass the study of algorithms and architectures for Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, Signal Processing, and Communication System. Dr. Khan’s significant contributions to research are evident in his publications in circuits and systems journals, highlighting his standing as a world-class researcher. His extensive expertise and commitment to research excellence have made a lasting impact on the global stage.
