Research Scope: ‘Technology is best when invisible’; localising, tracking and recognising human movement/activities in a ‘device-free’ fashion is more attractive, compared with traditional wearable technology enabled approaches, as, by not requiring the target (human) to attach any devices, it removes any social awareness/stigma while also being more robust to intended or unintended non-cooperation.
