Shayan Majumder (born 2000, Kolkata, India) holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani Campus. He gained industry experience through internships and work experience, including contributions to open-source space ecosystem projects via Google Summer of Code and an internship at Samsung R&D in Bangalore. After working as a Software Engineer for a year, Shayan is now a PhD student focused on autonomous systems, independent subsystem creation, and testbeds for flat sat implementation. His research interests include IoT, software-defined radio, satellite communications, quantum computing, and open-source software development.
