Research Scope: Collaborating with one of the world-leading researchers in this area (Prof. Wei Gong in USTC), we proposed to develop a revolutionary IoT network which features battery-less IoT nodes/tags. Equally important, this is not a standalone network, but, instead, it can be integrated into (or compatible with) most existing wireless networks. The advantages brought by the features of battery-less at node level and infrastructure-free at network level are expected to promote IoT development and deployment at the global scale, especially in applications with stringent cost and power requirements.
