Backscattering Communications

The electromagnetic backscattering phenomenon, underpinning the modern Radar and RFID technologies, has now been employed for wireless communication and sensing purposes, especially under the trend of booming Internet of Things (IoT).

Non-Volatile Memristors for RF Applications

This interdisciplinary research theme aims integration of printable non-volatile conductive bridging memristor (NVCBM) technology to RF sub-systems through advanced manufacturing techniques, for low-cost, passive, and large-scale applications. NVCBMs are electronically programmable impedances adapted from conductive bridging random access memory (CBRAM) technology, an emerging non-volatile memory.
